Couples Art Therapy Workshops
Bryan?Ko, Art Therapy graduate student from Southwestern College, will facilitate this art therapy-inspired process alongside Alyssa Gursky, Art Therapy graduate student from Naropa University. This workshop is based on concepts from both art therapy and couples therapy, and will have participants engaging in fun, informative, and captivating art experientials that were co-designed and compiled by?Bryan?and Alyssa.
Each class will take place alongside Meow Wolf's Adult Night, and will incorporate and include access to the House of Eternal Return. Couples will participate in art experientials alongside other couples, gaining new insight into the past, present, and future of their relationships.
Participants will receive relevant psychoeducation around couples therapy-related topics, and come away with art experientials that they can use at home. "Couples" is defined loosely, and can include spouses, long-term partners, or those who have recently met. Art experientials will be accessible for couples of all ages 21+, LGBTQIA friendly, and can be made accessible for individuals with alternative relationship styles.
Each drop-in group will cost $15 PER PERSON (not per couple) and will include admission to the House of Eternal Return. Reduced price is available for those interested in signing up for all 6.
Workshop dates are July 18, 25, Aug 1, 8, 15 & 22*
*August 15th & 22nd will be facilitated by solely by?Bryan.
